Creative Practice Forum (CHANGE OF DATE)
Tuesday 24 October, 10am – 1.30pm
COST: $20 per student (educators free)
Are your students interested in a career in the creative industries? In this half day forum students will meet and learn from a choice of finalists in We the Makers. Through Q&As and practical workshops, students will gain insight into the finalist’s creative processes. Students will be taken through their approach to research, their business model, experimentation, and realisation of the outfit on display.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and describe how aesthetic qualities, art elements and principles, materials and techniques have been used to develop and communicate ideas
- Discuss the range of influences which inform the development of students’ ideas and artworks
- Build confidence necessary to meet the requirements of VCE Art Creative Practice and VCE Art Making and Exhibiting study designs
