Museum Educator-Led Tour

Explore We the Makers, Sustainable Fashion Prize with a museum educator led tour. This program will unpack the process behind making and exhibiting, looking at curation, marketing and the conservation of artworks. We will also gain insight into the creative practices, use of materials, and personal stories of some of the finalists.
Suitable for:
VCE Art Creative Practice, Art Making and Exhibiting, Visual Communication Design, and Visual Arts Years 7–10.
Museum Educator Led Tour & Sustainable Fashion Workshop

$12 per student
This program includes the museum educator-led tour plus a hands-on workshop. Taking inspiration from the exhibition, the workshop will see students design an accessory (e.g. jewellery, a headpiece or belt) using sustainable and recycled materials Students will be encouraged to think outside of the box about materials, process, and sustainability, and they will go home with a handmade piece of fashion!
