The Museum is fully accessible at street entry, with rams to each level. Accessible parking is located at the front of the Museum. Accessible toilets are located on each level.

Port Phillip Ferries operates passenger ferry services from Docklands to Geelong and Docklands to the Bellarine (Portarlington) daily and also provide Port Phillip Ferries Discovery Tours.
Searoad Ferries car and passenger ferry travels from the Mornington Peninsula to Queenscliff. Buses run from Queenscliff to Geelong daily.
Spirit of Tasmania travels daily from Davenport Tasmania docking at Geelong. A ten-minute drive to the National Wool Museum.
